Category: Comparisons
Compare the Moleskine LOTR Compendium Box and the 3-Notebook Collector Box to find the best Lord of the Rings notebook bundle for your collection.
Quick answer
Choose the Compendium Box for the best value and a curated trio of notebooks, or the Collector Box if you want the exclusive Arwen notebook and don't mind paying more.
What's in each box?
Both bundles contain three cloth-bound notebooks, but the content differs. The Compendium Box includes notebooks dedicated to Frodo and Sam's journey to Mordor, Aragorn at Gondor, and a third notebook that is exclusive to this set—Arwen at Rivendell. The 3-Notebook Collector Box also features the Frodo & Sam and Aragorn notebooks, but its third notebook is different and not specified as exclusive.
Price and value
The Compendium Box is priced at $97.50 (catalog comparison $150), while the Collector Box costs $112.50 (catalog comparison $150). Both offer significant savings, but the Compendium Box is the better deal if you're after the same core notebooks. The Collector Box's premium is justified by the exclusive Arwen notebook, which is not available separately.
